Welcome to the North Kirklees and Morley Methodist Circuit.

We are a group of fifteen Methodist Churches across the old heavy woollen district of West Yorkshire, covering Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield, and Cleckheaton.

On this site you can find a church near you, and see what it offers, both on Sundays and throughout the week. You will be welcome to come along and see for yourself what the Methodist Church has to offer.

There is room for all, for all are welcome.

A Methodist Way Of Life

The Methodist Way of Life is a way of living. It is how we try to live our lives in response to God's love, made known to us in Jesus.

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

As far as we are able, with God's help:

The Church exists to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love.

  • We will pray daily.
  • We will worship with others regularly.
  • We will look and listen for God in Scripture, and the world.
  • Worship
    Learning & Caring

The Church exists to help people to grow and learn as Christians, through mutual support and care.

  • We will care for ourselves and those around us.
  • We will learn more about our faith.
  • We will practise hospitality and generosity.
  • Worship

The Church exists to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice

  • We will help people in our communities and beyond.
  • We will care for creation and all God's gifts.
  • We will challenge injustice.
  • Worship

The Church exists to make more followers of Jesus Christ

  • We will speak of the love of God.
  • We will live in a way that draws others to Jesus.
  • We will share our faith with others.
  • May we be a blessing within and beyond God's Church, for the transformation of the world.
